Joel Michael Reynolds
Joel Michael Reynolds (PhD, MA) is Senior Research Scholar in the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Disability Studies, Director of the Disability Studies Program, and Faculty in the Medical Humanities Initiative at Georgetown University. They are jointly appointed in Georgetown University’s School of Medicine and Medical Center as Faculty in the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics as well as in the Department of Family Medicine.

INTERIM VICE PRESIDENT (2025-2026)
Adam Cureton
Adam Cureton is the Lindsay Young Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tennessee. He did his graduate work at Oxford University, on a Rhodes Scholarship, and at UNC Chapel Hill. His research is mainly focused on ethics, Kant, and philosophy of disability.

Leslie Pickering Francis
Leslie P. Francis, Ph.D., J.D., holds joint appointments as Alfred C. Emery distinguished professor of law and distinguished professor of philosophy, and adjunct appointments in Family and Preventive Medicine (in the Division of Public Health), Internal Medicine (in the Division of Medical Ethics), and Political Science, at the University of Utah.

Eva Feder Kittay
Eva Feder Kittay is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Stony Brook University/SUNY and a Senior Fellow of the Stony Brook Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care and Bioethics. Kittay received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and her Ph.D. from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

Teresa Blankmeyer Burke
Teresa Blankmeyer Burke is Professor of Philosophy at Gallaudet University. Her research interests include bioethics, philosophy of disability, and Deaf philosophy.

Joseph Stramondo
Dr. Stramondo is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Humanities, as well as the Interim Chair of Classics and Humanities at San Diego State University. During the 22-23 Academic Year, he was the Hubert Mader Visiting Professor in Bioethics at the Albert Gnaegi Center for Healthcare Ethics at Saint Louis University. His research focuses on the intersection of biomedical ethics and philosophy of disability.
