We were very sad to learn that Anita Silvers, a founding member of the SPD Board of Directors, passed away. Anita was a guiding light in Philosophy of Disability, and Philosophy more generally. She was also a tireless advocate, a wonderful teacher and a mentor and friend to many of us.
